Assisted Close questions, answered

Scope, team, security, pricing and getting started. If your question isn't here, ask us on a 30-minute call.

Service and scope

What exactly does Assisted Close cover?

Your month-end close: bank, card, loan and balance-sheet reconciliations, accruals and recurring entries, variance commentary and a signed close pack by business day 6, on the Yoraito platform.

Does it replace our ERP?

No. Yoraito works inside the systems you already use. Your ledger stays where it is.

Do you do bookkeeping?

No. Assisted Close is close-only. If your books are behind, a catch-up close brings past months current first, and we can introduce partner firms for day-to-day bookkeeping.

Do you do tax or audit work?

No. We don't prepare tax returns or give audit opinions. We share close evidence with your auditor.

Team and delivery

Who is on my close team?

A named, Big Four-trained engagement manager, senior accountants versed in US GAAP, and accountants who work daily in your ERP.

Where does the team work?

Your team works from a dedicated global delivery center, with a daily 9–11 am US Eastern window for live questions. Your data stays in Yoraito; it is never downloaded locally.

Who carries professional liability?

Our certified delivery partner, which provides close services under its own services agreement with you.

What if the close runs late?

Business day 6 is the commitment in your services agreement. We report the actual close day every month, and the agreement sets out what happens if we miss it.

Data and security

Where does my data live?

In Yoraito, isolated per customer, with role-based access for each team member.

Is Yoraito SOC 2 certified?

Not yet. SOC 2 Type I is targeted for Q4 2026. The Trust Center has current status and documentation available under NDA.

Can the AI change my books?

No. Proposed entries wait for approval, and only rules you approved run.

Pricing and terms

How is it priced?

One all-in monthly fee in USD, scoped to entities, accounts and volume. It covers the Yoraito platform and your close team. You get an exact price after the Replay Proof.

Is there a setup fee?

No implementation fee in year 1.

What's the term?

12 months, then 60 days' notice.

Can we bring the close in-house later?

Yes. Keep the Yoraito subscription and your team takes over the same rules and trail.

Getting started

How long until our first close?

30 days from kickoff to your first live close.

What is the Replay Proof?

We close one past month in Yoraito beside your books, in five business days, and walk you through the tie-out. Free.

MORE

Setting up, auditors, and changing course

Setting up

What access do you need from us?

Read-only access to your ledger and bank accounts, or a monthly export if you would rather not connect anything. We never need write access to your books.

What if our books are behind?

A catch-up close brings past months current first, oldest to newest, as a scoped add-on. We will tell you how many months are realistic before you commit to anything.

Can we start with one entity?

Yes. Core covers a single entity and it is the usual starting point. Adding entities later moves you to Growth or Portfolio rather than restarting the engagement.

Do you work in our chart of accounts?

Yes. Your close rules are written against your own accounts, not mapped into a generic template.

What happens in the first month?

Onboarding, then a close delivered by business day 6 of the following month. The Replay Proof beforehand is the closest thing to a dry run.

Your auditor

What do you hand the auditor?

An evidence export covering each reconciliation: the query, the inputs it ran against, the result and the reviewer who signed it.

Can our auditor talk to your team?

Yes. We are a preparer, not an attest service, so there is nothing in the way of your auditor testing what we prepared.

Who signs the reconciliations?

Your named engagement manager signs each one, and the person who prepared it never signs it.

If we change course

What do we keep if we stop?

The Yoraito subscription, your close rules and the full trail. If you bring the close in-house you take over the same rules rather than starting again.

Does a catch-up month count as a month of the term?

No. A catch-up close is scoped separately and priced separately.

See your own close in daylight.

Send us one past month. In five business days we close it in Yoraito beside your books and show you it ties out. Free, with no commitment.
